Asetek La Prima Bundle Review - My Introduction To Asetek Simsports
I'm now going from ps4 to pc in simracing and i'm excited to experience this kind of battles instead of the dirty drivers on ACC ps4
In an Assetto Corsa Competizione race it started raining so i went into the pits to change for wet tyres but then after just one lap for some reason it already stopped raining so i had to lose an another ton of time in the pits (this happend at paul ricard if for some reason you're wondering)
This is modeled in game?
I'm looking to buy my first Sim wheel. Should I get the G920 or G923 if i'm going to be getting this mod?
The G920 is probably the better value option, the G923 doesn't add much
Legends has it, he still hasn't overtaken him 😂
"The move is done and dusted" Max V: Let me think about that..
game?
Ps2 ahhh Graphics
When did the dry line become the "slippery" part of the track lmao..
'Dry line' in this context just means the line you would take if the track was dry. It doesn't mean a physically dry line
In open matchmaking in Forza, barely anyone can kick me out of the podium in Formula Mazda in one track, IDK why, but that track is mine and mine alone, forgot its name but almost every corner is pretty high speed.
It’s only a Miata mom😂😂😂
Man I’ve been struggling with my Logitech pedals recently, been getting a lot better but I just cannot be consistent it’s always a guess how the braking will go
The black guy at the end just woke up from his sleep! 😆
I'm sorry, when does Laguna Seca of all places have rain on race day
Haha, true - the wonders of organised racing
The real rarity here is people actually racing at snetterton
LOVE snetterton
But usualy the racing line dosent have less water ? Due to cars running over it and pushing it out. Unless there is not a lot of cars
Only if the rain already stop, this situation seems it still raining
This is exactly What i do But i just came naturaly
Makes me wanna go run rain races🤣
game ?
Dayum clever game
I think that is called disappearing line a Legendary overtake technique there's a 50-80% chance to just pit him
It's online racing, he doesn't know if you'll send him to Narnia if he moved over
Great effort to educate people on how to drive faster! Good work 👍
dam good track that its my local snetterton race circuit
So in the rain the racing line is reversed?? Hmmm
Why is the sliperi line called dry line?
Because that's the line you WOULD take in the dry - so it's often called the dry line and wet line respectively. Confusing, I know...
your analysis are great :D I would suggest dont give them so much space when you are inside during braking. Theres almost a car between you and the outer. Gives them freedom and slows you so much so you need to wait longer to gas on.
Thank you for explaining this so simply.
I've been called cliche for saying this, but I'll keep saying it until people understand. In order to finish first, you first have to finish. There's no point banging your car up and having to retire because of it just because "the other car shouldn't have been there". Unfortunately it was there, race your car, if someone is doing dirty dives and missing the apexs, let them, chances are they'll end up wrecking themselves or meet another player who doesn't care about finishing.
But isn't the drier the line, the faster it should be?? In F1 they look for dry areas of the track to go faster
Only if there actually is a dry line. Lots of water has to be dispersed first over time from other cars
The outside is best if your along side, it gives you the inside for the important left.
Max did in real life on Lando in F1 just yesterday...never saw it coming..
i love that track in AC
Why is the normal racing line so much slower in the rain?
Less traction as the tarmac is worn down so it's smoother. Off the racing line you get more grip as it's less worn
@@ObevnaBut isn't the drier the line, the faster it should be?? In F1 they look for dry areas of the track to go faster
They do, but a dry line can only start to appear when the rain stops - whilst it's raining, you've gotta look to use the 'off line' areas that might be faster in the wet @@rahulprasad8203
@@dannyleeracing Thanks for clarifying 😀 .. I have been having this confusion all along
No matter how much experience you have... the eagerness to get the power down will bite the best of them... even with the patience to wait the extra second, eagerness can cause you to put too much power down too soon... thats racing for you.. just discovered you but love the content
Meanwhile on the first turn of the first lap in an assetto server gets you flying to mordor.
There's definitely a newbie out there taking this seriously
The racing line is slippery in the wet because it's rubbered in. You're practically gripping with rubber tires on a rubber surface when it's heavily rubbered. But when it's wet, rubber becomes slippery and you get the opposite effect, so you have to stay off it. There are also oils floating on the surface when it gets wet. The rubber will remain embedded in the surface until it gets washed off by rain. The rubbered line is inferior for grip but superior geometrically so you have to factor it all in for figuring out which line is best in the wet. In the extreme heat of Summer, were you to try and walk on the rubbered racing line your shoes would stick to it like you're trying to walk on semi-hardened glue.
„Smoooooth oooperator!“
U sound abit like gordan ramsay to me lol
How does a lesser used wetter part give more grip? Wouldnt he like hydroplane?
No no no very wrong
Try thisbin acc and y9ur going off
The most complicated overtake in rain
Unfortunately, a lot of comments here got the wrong message. This is not showing a "good" fight where the poster just lost a position fairly. This is showing it is not worth risking the whole race to keep a position even if the other guy was at fault, which he clearly was in this situation. Please dont take away from this that the other driver made a great move in the first corner. It was way too late, way too far from the apex, and totally misjudged.
Where in any racing rules does it say the overtaking car must hit the apex? It doesn't. This guy made the corner. He left racing room on the outside at the exit. He was alongside before they started to turn in. It's on the limit, yes, but it's a clean move.
@@RacingAnt so according to you Hamilton did nothing wrong against Verstappen in Silverstone 2021?
Does it work on F1 too?
It’s so funny watching these tips that are common sense and then you realize have the morons on this service would rather die and prove a point to yell at someone making a mistake than lose a 10th and keep racing 🤣
The problem is not the guy making a mistake. It happens, and if the guy recognizes it, most people would be cool about it. The problem is people insisting they did nothing wrong.
How can wet be more grippy? I don't understand, but great video with the visuals
Great and safe driving of you to give him space and fight back the next lap. I did the same thing during a race, but when i tried to take him back(with closer distance), i got turned into eventhough i held the inside line way before the corner entry.
How does the screen capture of this look so good?? My uploads are terrible quality in comparison
